Do you want to attend the Gaia Panel at Fanime this year? Whether you’re in (or will be in) San Jose for Fanime or not, you can still attend! That’s right, we’ll be webcasting the Gaia Panel LIVE! This is one panel you won’t want to miss! Since Fanime is in Gaia’s hometown, it’s a great opportunity to see a whole gaggle of Gaia Staffers.

The Webcast viewing screen will be posted right here in THIS blog post. Please come back here on Saturday, May 29th from 5:00pm-7:00pm PDT for the live webcast. In addition to “attending” the Gaia Panel, you will also have the opportunity to ask questions online as well. We will select your questions to ask the panel.

If you’re at the Fanime Convention live, here’s Gaia’s schedule:
Where: San Jose Convention Center, San Jose, CA
Panel: Saturday, May 29th 2010, 5:00pm–7:00pm Panels 3 (Webcast)
Feedback Social: Sunday, May 30th 2010, 5:00pm-7:00pm Panels 3
Social Gathering: Monday, May 31st 2010, 12:00pm–2:00pm Outdoor Patio adjacent to the SJCC concourse on the Marriott Side

As a bonus, all panel and feedback social attendees will receive a special limited-edition Convention Tour 2010 Item for your avatar, along with a zOMG! starter pack, 2,500 Gold and an exclusive 2010 Mystery Box.

In the meantime, here’s a clip from last year’s question/answer session. “See you” on Saturday!

Meet Gaia Staff at Fanime! Fanime is a rather large anime convention (con) held in San Jose, CA on Memorial weekend, May 28-May 31. We love this particular con because it’s local to Gaia HQ, so it’s the most attended con by Gaia Staff. If you’re interested in meeting a whole gaggle of people who work for Gaia, this is the con to attend! If you can’t be there in person, do the next best thing and tune into the live webcast. You’ll even be able to ask questions online during the webcast!

Stay tuned, for more details to come next week. Watch for the announcement! And, be sure to come back here to the blog on May 29th for the webcast.

As we recently announced, our Convention Tour is back in a big, big way in 2010, and the first two stops are coming up this weekend in San Francisco, CA and Seattle, WA!

On Friday, April 2nd, we’ll be hitting up Wonder Con at Moscone Center South in beautiful San Francisco! Trolley yourselves over and meet us in room 103 from 1PM to 2PM– we’ll be hosting out traditional Gaia Panel, complete with plenty of mischief, prizes and exciting glimpses toward Gaia’s future.

If the Bay Area climate isn’t quite drizzly enough for you, fear not: the next day, we’ll jet up to Sakura Con in Seattle’s lovely Washington State Convention and Trade Center. You can catch the Gaia Panel on April 3rd from 4:30 to 6:30 in Room 6C, or stop by the same room on Sunday from 10AM to noon for a Gaia Feedback Session– a perfect opportunity to contribute honest feedback and awesome ideas that fuel our site.
